Guess what Sephora is carrying now??? Aerin fragrances! I am so excited, and you all should be too, because they are such elegant and lovely perfumes. These fragrances were curated by the Aerin brand founder, Aerin Lauder; who if you didn’t already know, is the granddaughter of Estée Lauder. I am so in love with her designs. She does some amazing jewelry and even home decor and lighting. You should definitely take a peek at her official website.
Now back to the matter at hand. Something to love about these fragrances other than the fragrance itself, is the bottles. I love the bottle design and presentation. They remind me of Jo Malone bottles, and anything reminiscent of Jo Malone is always a good thing. All of the bottles are a 1.7 oz. size, which takes the guesswork out of which size to order. They are also the same price which is $110. Yes that is steep, but let me be the first to tell you, these fragrances are extremely long-lasting. Some more than others of course, but you will not be disappointed with the longevity.
This fragrance is really the reason why I am writing this post. If you love Jasmine, you will love this fragrance. I have smelled so many other representations of Jasmine in the past, and no other has come close to smelling like pure unadulterated Jasmine as this one. When it comes to floral based fragrances it has to be soft and non cloying. I love Gardenia and white flowers, but in perfumes they tend to come on too strong or are very generic smelling. This smells like someone took a handful of fresh picked Jasmine and pressed the oils out right under your nose! I cannot say enough about it, it’s just so beautiful.
This one to me does not smell like pure Lilac, but it still smells lovely. You also get some other floral and green notes. Certainly one of the more longer lasting ones in the collection.
This one has pretty strong sillage as well. It is very musky yet creamy. A very warm scent, but not too sweet as some Amber based fragrances tend to be.
I would describe this as an indecent Rose! The addition of Cognac and ripe berries make this fragrance a not so typical floral. It is sweet, but not overly so. Very feminine and unique.
This is indeed a white floral. Heady but not overpowering. It is soft and fresh with a hint of an aquatic note. Very pretty. I wouldn’t say this is a true Gardenia smell, but it comes pretty close.
This one I haven’t actually smelled, but I am hoping to get my hands on a sample.
This is the other one that I have not been able to smell, but it is described as a watery green fragrance. I am not so keen on green fragrances, although I love Clinique Calyx.
Have you tried any Aerin fragrances before? Which is your favorite?
