Well it looks like this is going to be somewhat of a quieter week for me, so I will be able to focus a bit more on blogging.
Last week I picked up my pre-sale items and I am finally getting around to posting them! For those of you do not know what the pre-sale is, it is when you actually purchase your items and get the discount before the sale starts; but you do not get to pick up your items until the day of the sale. It is completely worth it though if you have several items to buy, or if you want to get something that normally does not go on sale, like designer handbags. So let’s get to it!
This is a big floral pattern! I thought it was a bit too much when I first saw it, but it grew on me. I just love the way these dresses fit. They are always so well made and LINED!
This brand fits very well too, although it is not as nicely lined as the Ralph Lauren. I pretty much live in dresses now, which I am absolutely loving!
Let me just say, this is my first Michael Kors dress and it will not be my last if he keeps making this style! This dress is so comfortable. It is a curve hugging design for sure depending on what size you get. It does come with a belt, but I actually like it without. It is a maxi silhouette, but does not quite touch the floor. It looks great with heels, and has these side slits that go up to my knee. It is just so breezy to wear. These are on sale at Macy’s right now, so if you are interested now would be a good time to get it.
This is the exact same style dress as the first Michael Kors dress, just a different print.
At first I didn’t think I was going to get this bag because the bottom is not structured, and I hate when bags sag at the bottom. This has actually been a main complaint about this bag among the handbag savvy. The leather is thinner, but still sturdy. Kind of like the original Hamilton bags from Michael Kors that sagged so bad at the bottom. It occurred to me that if I could get an insert of sorts to put in the bottom it would eliminate the problem. On the day I picked it up and brought it home, I cut a piece of cardboard to size and it fits nicely in the bottom. No sagging! It stays so nicely structured. Yes that is a bit more extra effort to put into owning this bag, but when you invest in these bags a little extra TLC goes a long way to keep it looking great. I am just so in love with this color. It is a metallic bronze, gold colour. I consider it a spiced up neutral for sure!
I didn’t actually get these at the pre-sale, but I forgot to get them during the VIB Rouge sale at Sephora so I just picked them up at Macy’s. This is my absolute favorite toner! I am willing to try others now and again, but I always go back to this one. It is the only one in their line that is alcohol free. I just love it, and why mess with a perfect thing?
Did you get any goodies at the pre-sale?
