As with tradition, I go to Ulta to get one thing and I end up finding a whole bunch of other things I “need”. Yesterdays’s damage consists of…….
This is originally what I came in for. In an earlier post I mentioned that I had gotten some samples of this amazing hair cream with my shampoo and conditioner purchase. Since then I have come to the conclusion that I cannot live without this hair cream. It tames frizz and smooths all without weighing my hair down. I love the smell as well. It is very lightweight, and I even tried using a little more and it still didn’t make my hair greasy. If you have problems with oils weighing your hair down this is the only thing I would recommend! It is amazing stuff.
I did get more samples! They are still giving them away with purchase. I am so happy I got them because they will be great for when I go to Jamaica in November.
The only negative thing about the Living Proof hair cream is that the lack of silicones make it not so ideal for heat protection. I figured I had better find a separate heat protector. I needed something lightweight, but it was hard for me to find one that wasn’t laden with alcohol. Then I remembered that I had used this spray way back when and went over to look at it. The ingredients have not changed since the last time I used it, so I decided to just get this one. By the way, Matrix is having a buy 2 get 1 free right now as well.
I have a love hate relationship with cream or gel eyeliners in a pot. I love them because they are easy to apply and control, I do not have to worry about sharpening a pencil, it generally wears so much longer than pencils, and the pot goes a long way. I hate that the formula tends to dry out after a few months. Technically speaking you should be able to use the product until it runs out. I have had some from different brands that have dried out faster than others, so we will see about this one. I’ll give it a whirl and let you know what I think.
I have a powder highlighter but decided I wanted to try a creamy formulation to see if I liked it any better. This one is the only one I could find that didn’t have a ton of glitter. The formula is certainly creamy enough, which honestly worries me about how long this will last on my face, but we will see. Trial and error!
This is definitely a Fall shade! It is a pretty bronzey, shimmery russet color.
This is a shimmery, lilac color. I have to say I am really impressed with Zoya nail lacquers. They apply so smooth. I hate when nail polish applies streaky.
This is a shimmery, gunmetal shade.
This shade is so pretty. It is a shimmery, grapey wine color.
Well that does it for this Ulta trip. Let’s see what I can come up with next time!
Hope you all are having a great week so far!
