I came across this new line of skincare products the other day called Drunk Elephant. The name intrigued me, so I decided to investigate further. Turns out these products have top-notch ingredients, most of the ingredients are completely all-natural, and the products have gotten some great reviews. Marula oil is the key contender in all of their product formulations, which is a very good thing. Also, the product labeling features a cute elephant! What’s not to love?
This sunscreen has an amazing formulation. It includes a ton of antioxidants. This formula also boasts a very natural sunscreen via raspberry seed oil, which has been shown to provide the same protection as titanium dioxide. This would be a great option for those with skin sensitive to sunscreens.
Marula oil is very anti-oxidant rich much like Argan and Maracuja oils. Marula oil however is considered by some skincare professionals to be the cream of the crop in facial oils. This Marula oil is 100% unrefined, which is what you want in a facial oil. I have found Argan and Maracuja oils to be too heavy for me after using them on a continued basis. This one claims to be very lightweight and easily absorbed, so I would be willing to give this one a try for sure.
The product line offers two different facial cleansing bars. This one is intended for more oilier skin. It features natural clay and bamboo powder to rinse away surface oil and residue, without harsh detergents.
Of all of their products, this one is the one I am most eager to try. I am a dedicated user of glycolic acid in my skincare regimen, and I have been toying with the idea of adding an overnight glycolic serum a few nights a week. This formulation would surely seem to fit the bill. If I decide to purchase I will definitely do a more in-depth review.
The ingredients in the vitamin C packed serum are stellar! This is honestly one of the best formulations I have ever seen in a vitamin C serum. This is another one I would love to try after I am finished with my usual vitamin C product.
Have you tried anything from this impressive line yet?
