FLORAL HANDBAGS

Apparently this year florals are not just for your vases and spring dresses. I have been seeing so many designers implementing this trend for their Spring collections. Like all handbag prints and embellishments, such as fringe, studs and embossing; I feel like it can be overdone and lean towards tacky. This is true with a floral print as well, but just as with the aforementioned, if done right it can be classy and sophisticated. Here are some handbags that in my opinion win “Best Floral” so far.

I love chain handles! They are so very Chanel-esque. I can see this bag looking so très élégant with some of the new soft yellow jackets for this Spring.

How darling is this crossbody? Again, with the chain strap! Chains just make everything more irresistible!

Two words……..well actually three. Red, Maxi, Dress! I can see it. The definitivo resort vacation ensemble!

If Georgia O’Keeffe custom painted a handbag, and Claude Monet custom painted a handbag, and those two handbags fell in love and had a baby, it would look like this little, whimsical, lovely!

This bag seems to me like the perfect accessory for a Spring wedding. Kind of makes me wish my sister was getting married in March and not August.

What’s your take on these floral statements?
