I love Winter! I love Winter coats, Winter boots, Winter holidays, Winter concerts, Winter activities, you get it now! The only thing I do not love about Winter is the dry skin and hair that goes along with it! That being said I have compiled a list of things that I use on a regular basis to combat the drying Winter effects!
This is hands down my favorite shampoo right now! My hair is moisturized, shiny, enticingly scented, and healthy! I love that it has no sulfates as well. It is a little on the pricey side at $60 a bottle, but if you hit one of the liter sales at Ulta you can get a better deal. The lather is wonderful, and trust me when I say a little of this goes a long way! I have had these bottles for 4 months now and I am not even halfway through.
This is seriously moisturizing! Use this after your shower on slightly damp skin, and you will be super soft in the morning!
When used in conjunction with the body oil this will seal in the moisture even more! I use both of these night and day, and they have worked wonderfully at keeping my skin soft and hydrated!
This is a very effective and inexpensive hand cream. The added lactic acid works to slough off dead skin cells throughout the day, making your hand super soft!
This has been my HG of hand creams for years! I have tried so many others, and nothing seems to beat this one!
Believe it or not this does create a soft lather! Your skin will be so hydrated after using this! The fact that it smells like an almond biscotti does not hurt!
Can you tell I love L’Occitane products? This one is no exception! This cream is so incredibly hydrating! You do not get a ton of it, but it is a worthy indulgence on those super dry days!
Finally we get down to the wire! No home should be without this stuff! It is good for everything to dry feet, cracked hands, dry lips, and wind-burned skin! Use on feet and hands at night and cover with cotton socks and gloves and sleep with it on! You can also purchase this in a small tube and use it on lips. In the wintertime in cold, dry climates you need an effective barrier between your skin and the harsh weather! This will do exactly that! Btw for the moms, this is the ONLY thing I would ever use on my daughter to prevent diaper rash! Works like a charm!
